Thanks and Giving!

This year, Thanksgiving is a bit more meaningful to our community and it really sums up what this holiday is all about, giving.  So many wonderful people have given so much already that I’m completely and totally NP proud.  I’m asking you all to find it in your hearts to help a very special woman/teacher/mother/wife/sister/daughter & friend, Ann Marie Demuth who is battling Multiple Myeloma, and her family. She is beyond brave, both a champion and a warrior! Yes, we’re demonstrating how to do a lovely table scape for your family.  However, this project was inspired by Ann Marie and the awareness color of Multiple Myeloma. I’m lucky to know Ann Marie , call her friend and I’m also blessed to help out at the amazing Toy Bingo Fundraiser on Sunday, November 18th at the North Pocono High School Cafeteria 12pm-5pm, (doors open at 11). For more information on this special event click here:

Our challenge is to decorate and try to make the cafeteria not look like, well, a cafeteria. We want it to be as spectacular as Ann Marie! Therefor we’ve decided to try to add a little sparkle and magic with this fun DIY pumpkin painting project.  As mentioned earlier, burgundy is the awareness color of multiple myeloma so that’s the color we are using along with some gold glitter. We also have a few more surprises to make it extra special. Stay-tuned to our entire how-to video for a special giveaway too!

So come see us! The toys are fantastic! Shop, eat, drink, play and please DONATE whatever you can to this amazing woman! We hope to see you for delicious food and too many activities to mention!  Zandra Martin and her wonderful team have put together an incredible event and didn’t miss a single detail.
